Tim Murray
Tim is from Woodbine in Campbelltown, by God's grace into a family that trusted in Jesus. He gave his life to the Lord at a young age. Previous to Village he has been involved in Campbelltown Baptist Church and Salt Church Wollongong. He works as the Head Teacher of English at TIGS. Tim is married to Reena and they have two kids.
Michael Plaege
Michael grew up in Padstow, Sydney and was converted 40 or so years ago as a child at Sunday school. He completed a Bachelor & Masters of Divinity at Moore College, Sydney and worked as the Mission Pastor at Lakes EV on the Central Coast. Five years ago Michael was invited to be the lead pastor at Salt Church in Wollongong. Michael is married to Natalie and has three kids.
Andy Milne
Andy is a Wollongong local. Aside from a few existential crises he has followed Jesus all his life. He has been a part of Berkeley Life Centre and Salt Church. He is a trained Primary School teacher who has worked at Youthworks, in a Microwave Engineering firm and as a handyman. Andy is married to Rosie and they have three kids.
Chris Rudens
Chris grew up in the Sutherland Shire and became a Christian through High School Scripture. He is an Environmental Engineer working with the NSW Government. He has previously been a member of Gymea Anglican & Robertson Anglican before joining Village Church in 2021. Chris is married to Sueanne and has two kids.
Gary Eastment
Gary grew up in Camden, NSW. He has a Bachelor of Theology from Moore Theological College and is an ordained Anglican Reverend. He has pastored at Helensburgh Anglican and most recently at St Marks, University of New England in Armidale. He now works for Anglicare overseeing Prison ministry and chaplains. He has been a member of Village since 2023. Gary is married to Bec and has three kids.
Sam Wheeler
Sam is from Gladesville Sydney. He has grown up in a Christian family and trusted in Jesus as a teenager. After attending Christ Church Gladesville he joined Grace City Church and then landed in Village Church in 2022. Sam has been in the Australian Army for 15 years and is currently a Major in charge of operations, plans and logistics. Sam is married to Cloe and they have one kid.
